Liability waiver and release
I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in this race involves inherent risks including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather (including high heat, cold, and humidity), traffic, and the conditions of the road or trail — all of which could result in personal injury, illness, or, in extreme cases, death.
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I assume all such risks and waive, release, and discharge the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and host venue from any and all claims arising from my participation, except those caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
I certify that I am physically fit and have trained sufficiently for participation. I authorize medical personnel to provide treatment in case of emergency.
I grant permission for organizers to use any photographs, videos, or recordings of me taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.
