Tournament and seminar registration that doesn't fight your studio software.

Studio management software handles classes. But tournaments, seminars, and recitals are their own thing — capacity per division, weight class or skill level, waivers per competitor, family pricing.

Why studio events are hard to run on studio software

Your studio software runs classes well. Tournaments and recitals are a different shape: outside your normal members, often run as a fundraiser, and full of event-specific requirements that class billing tools don't handle. So the studio either jury-rigs it on a generic form or pays a percentage to an event platform.

Attending fits in the gap. It's a registration form, not a studio management system — but it understands tournaments, seminars, and recitals the way the rest of your tools don't.

What a studio event form actually needs

Capacity per division or class

Cap the white-belt division at 24, the brown/black at 16. Cap each seminar slot separately. Each one closes when it's full.

Skill level, weight class, age bracket

Drop-down selectors that drive both the registration and the bracket sheet you'll print before the tournament.

Waivers per competitor

Each competitor signs a tournament waiver. Parent-signed for minors. Archived next to the registration.

Family pricing & multi-event discounts

Sign up two siblings competing at the same tournament with a family rate. Or register a student for both the tournament and the seminar at a bundle price.

Open to non-members

Outside competitors and visiting students don't have studio accounts. They can register through the link without joining anything.

What a tournament form looks like

An open martial arts tournament runs three divisions (kids, adult belts, black belt), three weight classes per division, with caps that vary. Registration is $65 per competitor, $50 for siblings. Every competitor signs a tournament waiver; parents sign for minors.

On Attending, a family registers two siblings competing in different divisions on one form. Each signs the right waiver based on age. The tournament director sees a live count per division and pulls bracket-ready rosters in CSV the night before.
